SARPH can provide education on the impaired pharmacist. We can help in training managers to identify pharmacists in the workplace that may be suffering from an impairment. We have several different programs that we can tailor to your needs. We have also participated in education at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Schools and Colleges of Pharmacy in providing training to pharmacy students. INTERVENTION

Have a loved one who is a Pennsylvania pharmacist of pharmacy student you suspect  of being impaired??? SARPH's experts in impairments can help by planning and conducting an intervention. In simple terms, an intervention is an attempt to present the impaired pharmacist with reality. An intervention is NOT a process by which an impaired individual is berated and belittled in a attempt to have them seek help - rather an intervention is a process whereby genuine love and concern for the individual is expressed as an entry to the treatment process. TREATMENT AND MONITORING

SARPH's greatest strength lies in this facet of the treatment process. Our statistics demonstrate a success rate far greater than the average treatment program. SARPH does NOT do this alone! Our experience has shown that partnerships between all parties in the treatment process are the key to our success. Our treatment contracts allow the impaired pharmacist to continue to be gainfully employed in their chosen profession, as well as document compliance to employers and the Board of Pharmacy, proof of the impaired pharmacist's compliance to the treatment program and complete abstinence from any and all mood altering substances.SARPH has provided over 600 treatment contracts for Pennsylvania Pharmacists since it's inception in 1984.
